Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, structural disposition, manufacture and application of robots.
If you have ever even secretly aspired to build your own robot, then the Robotics Club, MNNIT is the place for you! We are a diverse group of over-enthused robotics nerds who find roots across all academic departments of the institute as well as ‘seniority’. The club is a student body which finds its place under the Science and Technology Council.Interested in what kind of work we do? We build robots for academic purposes, to compete at both national and international events or just out of plain interest. Check out our project page and achievements.
Having those newbie jitters? No worry. We are here to induct you into the rapidly expanding world of robotics. One on one guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipments, components and workspace eagerly await you!
Robotics Club MNNIT was formed out of the passion for robotics, to facilitate learning and research in the areas of Mechatronics/robotics and Intelligent Systems, Automation , Advanced Control Systems, Modeling and Simulation, and Sensors & Algorithms. Our aim is to acquire knowledge and appropriate hands-on experience , in order to meet the needs of these rapidly changing technologies and provide services to industry for promoting new technologies as well as designing and manufacturing commercially viable products, for the development of our country. Along with technological advancement, taking up socially relevant projects that can be brought to the aid of common people are of prime importance to us. We also make sure that the knowledge acquired is shared with students, by conducting workshops, exhibitions and talks; thereby introducing them to this the stream and invoking an interest among them for the same.

The MNNIT Robotics Club is a student run group of highly motivated B.tech studen. Our diverse group, with majors ranging from Mechanical Engineering to Computer Science and Electrical Engineering to Chemical Engineering shares a common passion for the field of robotics.
The team’s purpose is to explore exciting new technology, learn critical skills, and promote the field of robotics through entering a variety of competitions. The team prefers to continually evolve through finding exciting new opportunities for challenge.
